2/22 （ Sat ） Inspiring True Story ！ "Peace ・ By ・ Chocolate" Film Screening

boccs, an exchange base in front of Iwai station, holds monthly "boccs cinema," a film screening for learning and exchange.

This film is an inspiring true story that spreads from Syria to Canada and to the world. 2011 saw the outbreak of the Syrian Civil War and many people lost their lives. The Haddad family also lost their chocolate factory in their hometown of Damascus and moved to Antigonish, Canada. Father Issam resumed chocolate making in the kitchen of their home and began a new life by distributing chocolates at church to the community.
This film teaches us the importance of maintaining hope and taking action in the face of difficulties. Please take this opportunity to see the film at the venue.
