This is a notice from the Health Promotion Division.
A food poisoning alert has been issued for Chiba Prefecture today.
During this season of high temperatures, bacteria become more active and food poisoning is more likely to occur.
The three principles of food poisoning prevention are: "Don't let bacteria get infected ・ Don't let bacteria increase ・ and kill bacteria.
Prevent food poisoning by taking the following precautions.
○Do not allow bacteria to get on the food
Before cooking ・ Wash hands before meals and use separate chopsticks for handling raw meat and for eating.
○Do not increase bacteria
Keep refrigerator below 10℃ and freezer below -15℃, and do not leave food at room temperature for a long time.
○ To kill bacteria
Heat food thoroughly to the center ( at 75℃ for more than 1 minute ) and sterilize cooking utensils with boiling water each time they are used.
