Notice Concerning Subsidies for New Type Corona and Influenza Vaccination Expenses for FY2024

Vaccination against the new corona vaccine has been changed from a fully publicly funded vaccination to a partially publicly funded vaccination, as is the case with influenza.
Vaccination has been confirmed to be effective in preventing the onset and severity of the disease. There is no obligation to be vaccinated. If you wish to be vaccinated, please consider vaccination after careful consultation with your family doctor. Subsidies will begin on October 1, 2024. The city will not send vaccination tickets.
Those eligible for the subsidy are

① those who are 65 years old or older on the day of vaccination
② those who are 60 to 64 years old on the day of vaccination and have impaired heart, kidney or respiratory functions or immune functions caused by human immunodeficiency virus and hold a physical disability certificate level 1
