This beautiful octagonal lighthouse is a replica of the first lighthouse （ which was the second lighthouse in Japan to be lit in 1869 ） and was destroyed by the Great Kanto Earthquake .
Please come and see the view of the Boso Peninsula.

In order to encourage people to become familiar with （ "Noborueru Lighthouse" ） and visit it
casually, the Lighthouse Society of Japan has divided it into two categories: National Supporting Members and Local Supporting Members. We are recruiting members by classifying them into two categories: National Supporting Members and Local Supporting Members.
If you are interested in becoming a member, please check the Tokokai website for information on membership application, fill out the application form, and send it by e-mail （ in PDF format ） or by mail.
You can also apply for membership at the reception desk of each lighthouse.
