Easy to process "balsa wood" is used to make a familiar
Using photographs and other materials as models, balsa wood is carved into the shape of a full-size wild bird using an electric hacksaw ・ a cutout knife ・ a carving knife, etc. The bird is then colored with paint to reproduce its appearance, and a perch is also made to hold the bird in place.
Children and beginners are welcome to join the workshop as the staff explains the process step by step.
